About the Hub

University of Exeter is lead partner for the UK Hub for One Health Systems.

We are tasked with helping the NHS to become environmentally sustainable.

Our net zero hub interconnects healthcare leaders, key industry partners and academics from across many social, economic and environmental disciplines to create sustainable health and social care pathways and tackle environmental pollution.

Using a deployable, holistic toolkit we are developing and implementing emission reduction plans (ERPs) across a range of clinical, health, and social care pathways.

Our mission is to improve patient centric healthcare through a decarbonised, environmentally friendly system that is firmly rooted in healthcare economics and sustainable decision making.
